NOTIFICATION OF CONSTRUCTION - Penpont to Thornhill Active Travel Path Phase 1A

KPT Development Trust are working in partnership with Transport Planning & Engineering (TP&E) to build a new active travel path between Penpont and Thornhill.  We would like to inform you that the first phase of the path is now under construction and that JH Civil Engineering has been appointed as the contractor.  

Consent is being sought from Dumfries and Galloway Council for the contractor to use the two layby areas on the A702 for materials and site storage.  We would like to warn of the potential effects of construction in the community, such as large construction vehicles and road lane closures where necessary.
